How do I get my Pack Involved?
The first step is to submit your pack’s contact information through
this website.
Pack leaders submitting contact information online provides local
Safe Kids coalitions a list of interested Cub Scout packs in an
area. This does not automatically enroll packs in an event. Since
there are many more packs than coalitions, the list allows coalition
coordinators to find all interested packs in an area to maximize the
number of scouts served.
Unfortunately, not all packs will be able to participate in this
program due to location and coalition capacity.
After submitting information online, pack leaders must contact the
local Safe Kids coalition to schedule a meeting among the coalition,
pack leaders and Chevrolet dealers to plan an event. The local Safe
Kids coalition is responsible for contacting the Chevy dealer unless
the Cub Scout pack has a current relationship.
Pack leaders are encouraged to review the
original pack list
or
recent inquiries to
find other interested packs in the area to combine efforts.
Once an event is scheduled, the Safe Kids coalition will submit an
application for an event kit. All materials including patches will
be sent to the coalition and distributed at the event.
